Work Experience offers the opportunity for students in Years 10 and 11 to spend time with an employer, carrying out a range of learning related tasks or duties.

The standard work experience placement period is 1 or 2 weeks but sometimes an extended work placement may be appropriate. Once the school has identified a student for this type of alternative curriculum a suitable placement may be found, subject to agreement with the student, school, parents and employers.

All participating employers must undertake a Risk Assessment and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
